Role Overview
An SAP CPI Consultant works with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (part of SAP Integration Suite) to design, develop, and manage integrations between cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring seamless data exchange across applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI
- Configure and manage integration scenarios between:
- SAP and non-SAP systems
- Cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise
- Work with adapters such as:
- SFTP, IDoc, SOAP, OData, REST, HTTP
- Handle message transformation using:
- XML, JSON, XSLT, Groovy scripts
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring
- Ensure secure communication (OAuth, certificates, encryption)
- Integrate systems like:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ECC
- Third-party applications (Salesforce, etc.)
- Use APIs and manage them via API Management tools
- Perform deployment, testing, and support activities
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams
