Tax Consultant

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations and be capable of handling multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and review U.S. Federal, State, and Local Income Tax Returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.\nAnalyze financial statements and supporting documents to ensure accurate tax reporting.\nPrepare tax workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation.\nResearch U.S.

tax laws and regulations to resolve tax-related issues.\nIdentify tax-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.\nAssist with tax planning and year-end tax projections.\nRespond to IRS and State tax notices and assist in resolving tax matters.\nCoordinate with clients to obtain required tax information and maintain strong client relationships.\nEnsure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with filing deadlines.\nWork with the team to improve tax processes and maintain high-quality standards.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nCPA, EA, or CPA candidate preferred.\nMinimum 2+ years of experience in U.S. Income Tax.\nStrong experience preparing Federal, State, and Local tax returns for U.S. clients.\nWorking knowledge of U.S.

tax compliance requirements.\nExperience with tax preparation software such as CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, Lacerte, Drake, or similar.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with multi-state tax filings.\nKnowledge of tax planning and tax research.\nExperience handling IRS and State tax notices.\nFamiliarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is a plus.
