About The Job:

• Experience: 10+ Years
• We are seeking an experienced SAP BW/4HANA Consultant with 10+ years of experience in SAP Data Warehousing, Analytics, and Reporting solutions to support a large-scale ECC to S/4HANA transformation program within the Banking sector.
• The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW on HANA, data modeling, extraction frameworks, reporting solutions, and migration of existing ECC-based reporting landscapes to S/4HANA-enabled analytics platforms.
• The role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, data migration teams, and architects to design and implement enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
SAP BW/4HANA Solution Design

• Lead design and implementation of SAP BW/4HANA architecture for banking transformation programs.
• Define target-state analytics architecture aligned with SAP S/4HANA.
• Assess and remediate existing ECC BW assets for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Design scalable and performance-optimized data models.

ECC to S/4HANA Reporting Transformation

• Evaluate existing ECC extractors, InfoProviders, BEx Queries, Process Chains, and custom reporting solutions.
• Drive migration and redesign of legacy reporting solutions to BW/4HANA.
• Support simplification of data models and reporting architecture.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand S/4HANA data structures and business requirements.

Data Modeling & Development

• Develop and maintain:
  • InfoObjects
  • ADSOs
  • Composite Providers
  • Open ODS Views
  • Transformations
  • DTPs
  • Process Chains
  • HANA Calculation Views
• Build reusable reporting and analytical models.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis for Office, and BW reporting solutions.
• Create management, finance, regulatory, and operational reporting for banking stakeholders.
• Support real-time reporting and analytical requirements.

Data Integration

• Design and implement data extraction from:
  • SAP ECC
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP MDG
  • SAP BTP/DataSphere (if applicable)
  • Non-SAP source systems
• Ensure data consistency, reconciliation, and governance across reporting environments.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize BW data flows, queries, and HANA models.
• Improve data load performance and report execution times.
• Support system sizing and performance tuning activities.

Testing & Deployment

• Participate in SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live activities.
• Support reconciliation of reports between ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Provide production support and hypercare assistance.

Banking Domain Responsibilities

• Support regulatory and management reporting requirements.
• Work with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting teams.
• Develop reporting solutions for:
  • General Ledger
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Fixed Assets
  • Treasury
  • Profitability Reporting
  • Regulatory Reporting
  • Cost Allocations

• Ensure compliance with banking governance, audit, and data quality standards.

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP BW experience.
• At least 2 end-to-end SAP transformation or implementation projects.
• Strong experience in SAP BW/4HANA migration programs.
• Hands-on experience in ECC to S/4HANA transformations.
• Experience working with Banking or Financial Services clients.
• Experience in global delivery models and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
