About The Job:
- Client's People Analytics team owns the employee listening ecosystem on Qualtrics EmployeeXM.
- We're hiring a contract Qualtrics EX Administrator to serve as the day-to-day platform owner programming and operating our listening programs, maintaining data integrity and access controls, and turning survey results into clean, decision-ready analytics for People leaders and the broader business.
- This is a hands-on technical role for someone who knows the Qualtrics EmployeeXM platform deeply, is comfortable owning the survey lifecycle end to end, and can pair platform administration with rigorous reporting and light program management.
- You'll work directly with People Analytics, People Business Partners, and People Tech/HRIS/IT.
Essential Job Functions:
Platform administration (Qualtrics EmployeeXM)
- Assist with brand/org-level administration: user and role provisioning, permissions, dashboard sharing, and license management.
- Maintain the org hierarchy, Employee Directory, and participant/metadata structures; manage data loads and keep participant records in sync with the HRIS (Workday) source of truth.
- Build and maintain automations and integrations (scheduled imports, SFTP/API feeds, email/distribution triggers) between Qualtrics and upstream/downstream systems, with support of IT.
- Enforce data governance: anonymity/confidentiality thresholds, response-rate floors, access scoping, and PII handling in line with company privacy and security policies.
- Manage platform configuration, release/feature changes, and serve as a liaison to Qualtrics support and our account team.
Survey programming & EX program management
- Program engagement, lifecycle (onboarding, exit), pulse, manager-effectiveness, and ad hoc surveys including survey flow logic, branching, embedded data, randomization, and multi-language deployments.
- Serve as key partner to support build and administration for employee voice survey.
- Own the listening calendar: timelines, distributions, reminders, field windows, and stakeholder comms in coordination with People Analytics and HRBPs.
- Configure and maintain EX dashboards and role-based dashboard access.
- Coordinate vendor benchmarks, normative comparisons, and any external survey integrations.
Analytics & reporting
- Produce response-rate tracking, trend analysis, and segmentation cuts (org, geo, tenure, level, and other demographics) with correct small-n suppression.
- Prepare and structure clean datasets to support People Analytics-led driver/key-driver and statistical analysis (Text iQ / Stats iQ); run standard open-text categorization and tagging.
- Build and maintain standard, recurring executive- and manager-ready reports, dashboards, and visualizations; partner with People Analytics on deeper analyses and readouts.
- Support build of AI-enabled survey analytic skill to expand self-service capabilities.

Qualifications:
Required
- 2+ years hands-on administering and programming in Qualtrics, with EmployeeXM (EX) exposure (direct EX experience required; not survey-only / CX-only).
- Demonstrated ownership of the full survey lifecycle: build, test, distribute, monitor, report.
- Strong command of survey flow logic, embedded data, participant/org hierarchy management, and EX dashboards.
- Experience with participant data loads and HRIS integration concepts (Workday preferred); comfort with structured data files (CSV) and field mapping.
- Solid analytics skills: segmentation, trend and driver analysis, and clear data storytelling; familiarity with anonymity thresholds and confidentiality best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy; able to QA your own work before it ships.
Preferred
- Experience with Text iQ, Stats iQ, and action-planning modules.
- Qualtrics platform certifications (e.g. Qualtrics Platform Specialist / EX-focused credentials).
- Working knowledge of SFTP/API-based automations and Qualtrics integrations.
- Exposure to data privacy frameworks relevant to employee data (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) and handling of sensitive HR data.
- Prior experience supporting a People Analytics, HRIS, or People Tech function in a tech/enterprise environment.
- Exposure to AI-enabled survey/text analytics and building self-service analytics capabilities (e.g. AI-assisted Text iQ, automated insight summarization, natural-language querying of EX data).
