Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role located in Delhi, India. The Chartered Accountant will manage statutory and tax audits, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Daily responsibilities include handling direct and indirect taxation matters, preparing tax returns, supporting tax planning, and assisting with assessments or representations as required. The role involves maintaining accurate books of accounts, performing financial analysis, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and advising clients on financial controls and process improvements. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with internal team members and clients, prepare clear documentation and reports, and stay updated on changes in accounting and tax laws.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized institute; strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Experience in statutory audit, internal audit, and assurance engagements, including preparation and review of working papers and audit documentation.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including income tax, GST, tax returns preparation, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, MS Excel, and financial analysis tools to support reporting, reconciliations, and data validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide practical recommendations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including ability to prepare clear reports and interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a CA firm or corporate finance/accounting role is preferred; familiarity with Indian regulatory and compliance frameworks is an advantage.
