Job Description
Role Overview
NR Consulting is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to support day-to-day finance, accounting, documentation, reporting, and reconciliation activities. This role is suitable for freshers or students who want to build practical experience in finance operations, accounting, invoicing, and business reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the finance team in daily accounting and documentation activities.
- Assist in invoice preparation, payment tracking, and data entry.
- Help maintain finance records, trackers, and supporting documents.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Assist with bank reconciliation, vendor records, and expense tracking.
- Prepare basic reports using MS Excel or Google Sheets.
- Coordinate with internal teams for finance-related documents and approvals.
- Support GST, TDS, and compliance-related documentation under supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Learn and support finance processes as assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn finance operations and accounting processes.
- Ability to manage records, documents, and reports responsibly.
Preferred Skills
- Internship or project experience in finance, accounting, or commerce will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or any accounting software will be preferred.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and reconciliation basics will be useful.
Qualification
- Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA Finance, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or related qualification.
- Freshers with strong interest in finance and accounting may apply.
