This is a pivotal role that combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, and will require you to own and execute all core responsibilities typically handled by the Leader.\nYou will build and lead a robust partnership ecosystem — developing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, nurturing relationships with donors and partners, and positioning RGF as a global leader in community-driven development.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nStrategy &Planning\nDesign and execute a comprehensive partnerships and fundraising strategyaligned with RGF’s mission, focusing on diversified sources including government, foundations, corporations, and individual donors.\nCollaborate closely with senior leadership to align partnership efforts with RGF’s overall strategic priorities.\nFundraising & Business Development\nIdentify, cultivate, and manage relationships with high-value partners, funders, and donors.\nLead the preparation and submission of grant proposals, funding applications, and impact reports, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and timelines.\nTrack fundraising performance metrics, analyze trends, and adapt strategies to optimize outcomes and achieve ambitious revenue targets.\nTeam Leadership\nMentor and guide a small, high-performing team of fundraising and partnerships professionals to meet collective goals.\nFoster a collaborative, high-accountability culture with a focus on results and learning.\nStakeholder Engagement & Representation\nRepresent RGF at national and international events, conferences, and forums to advocate for its mission and showcase its impact.\nEngage RGF’s internal stakeholders (staff, board, volunteers) to build a culture of philanthropy and collective ownership of fundraising goals.\nGovernance & Compliance\nManage the partnerships and fundraising budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial accountability standards.\nStay abreast of global fundraising trends, regulations, and best practices to keep RGF’s strategies innovative and compliant.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nStrategic Fundraising Expertise:\n\nProven successin developing and executing large-scale fundraising strategies across diverse revenue streams.\nStakeholder & Relationship Management:\n\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with donors, government agencies, and corporate partners.\nCommunication Excellence:\n\nExceptional writing and presentation skills for persuasive proposals, pitches, and reports.\nAnalytical Mindset:\n\nAbility to interpret data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.\nLeadership:\n\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and inspiring performance through coaching and mentorship.\nPublic Representation:\n\nComfortable representing the organization in high-stakes public forums and advocating for its mission.\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, International\nDevelopment, or related field (Master’s preferred).\n20 years of experience in partnerships/fundraising, preferably in international development, with a strong track record of securing significant multi-source funding.\nFamiliarity with international fundraising regulations, compliance, and donor reporting.\nProficiency in donor management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.\nPersonal Attributes:\nDeep commitment to social impact and the mission of RGF.\nStrategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach.\n\nHigh integrity, resilience, and cultural sensitivity.
