This role is ideal for someone who is strong in full-cycle accounting, and confident in ensuring financials are accurate, complete, and tax-ready.\n\nLearn more about who we are and what we're building: https://alineaccounting.com\n\nWhy You'll Want to Join:\nWe offer benefits that go beyond the standard package, ensuring a healthy work-life balance and long-term financial security:\n100% remote work setup , giving you the freedom to work where you're most productive.\nPaid Rest Day Allowance (equivalent to 10 rest days per year to support rest and recovery)\nObserve selected Philippine holidays per year.\nTechnology Stipend to cover internet, software, and communication tools for a smooth remote setup.\nHealthcare Allowance to support your overall health and well-being needs.\nProfessional development opportunities for continuous learning and long-term career advancement.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and oversee complex US GAAP accounting matters, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), ensuring accurate application, documentation, and ongoing compliance across all client engagements.\nOversee the preparation, review, and finalization of accurate financial statements for external clients, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.\nManage and supervise general ledger activities, including review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and overall financial integrity.\nOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring strong internal controls, accuracy, and efficiency across processes.\nSupervise payroll processing and review payroll tax filings for multiple clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.\nLead and drive month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financials are complete and accurate.\nReview and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client and internal reporting standards.\nServe as a primary point of contact for clients—leading discussions, presenting financial results, resolving discrepancies, and providing strategic financial guidance.\nLead, mentor, and manage a team of client-facing accountants, including performance management, coaching, and professional development.\nEstablish, standardize, and continuously improve accounting processes, workflows, and quality control measures to support scalability.\nCollaborate with leadership on operational strategy, client service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n10+ years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to US-based clients\nProven experience managing a team of senior accountants\nStrong expertise in US GAAP\nStrong understanding of full-cycle accounting, including end-to-end financial processes\nExperience with technical US GAAP topics, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), is strongly preferred\nMust have hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)\nProficiency in QuickBooks and general ledger accounting\nStrong client-facing experience, with the ability to confidently lead discussions, explain financial results, and resolve discrepancies\nExperience managing multiple clients with competing priorities and deadlines\nExcellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nStrong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills\nAbility to work independently in a fully remote environment\n\nWhy Aline Accounting Partners\nAt Aline, we don't just offer jobs—we provide careers with flexibility, growth, and work-life balance.
