Master and Reference Data-Customer master specialist
Job Description
The role will develop and maintain enterprise master and reference data products and facilitate their consumption across the enterprise.\n\nThe role is also requiring understanding and some experience in client onboarding process.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nMaster / Reference Data Management\n\nDefine, prioritize, and clean master and reference data sets in-line with standards.\nMonitor use of master data to ensure compliance with policies.\nSupport consumers of master data and ensure all data requirements are met.\nMaintain detailed documentation of master and reference data management processes and changes for reference and compliance purposes.\nData Dictionary\n\nReview and ensure business definitions and metadata for master and reference data are up-to-date and available.\nParticipate in managing master and reference data content in the business glossary.\n\nData Quality\n\nMaintain overall integrity and consistency of master and reference data, by coordinating with business units and functions.\nManage duplications and inconsistencies in master data records.\nSupport quality improvement initiatives related to master and reference data, with special emphasis to client/Legal Entity data and client onboarding.\n\nMinimum qualification and skills\n\nExperience\n\n10+ years of experience in Data Management/IT or relevant function, with industry knowledge\nProven experience in master data management, data governance, data quality assurance and client onboarding/KYC\n\nSkills\n\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.\nStrong interpersonal and communication/persuasion skills.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\nCertification in Master Data Management (MDM) or related fields is a plus\n\nOrganization Overview:\n\nMizuho Global Services (MGS), Pune is an integral part of Mizuho Financial Group, one of the world’s leading financial institutions with a strong global presence across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.
