Performance Marketing Specialist


About the Role

We're looking for a Performance Marketer to own and scale paid performance marketing campaigns across our B2B and D2C client portfolio. You'll drive measurable growth across acquisition, conversion, and retention for our clients' businesses while managing budgets, testing hypotheses, and delivering results-driven strategies. You'll be equally strong in managing paid channels (Meta, Google) and marketplace advertising (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.).


Core Responsibilities


Paid Performance Marketing Campaigns

%CF; Own end-to-end performance marketing strategy and execution across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube), and emerging platforms.

%CF; Develop channel-specific strategies optimized for each client's business model (B2B lead generation, D2C e-commerce, SaaS onboarding, etc.).

%CF; Manage full-funnel campaigns focused on acquisition, conversion optimization, and repeat purchase/retention depending on client goals.

%CF; Build and maintain client campaign roadmaps, timelines, and quarterly planning.


Marketplace Advertising & Campaign Management

%CF; Lead campaign planning and execution across all major marketplaces—Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and others—aligned with client business priorities and calendar events.

%CF; Own Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns across platforms, optimizing bids, keywords, and targeting.

%CF; Plan and execute festive sales campaigns (Diwali, Holi, Black Friday, etc.), mega sale events (Amazon Prime Day, Flipkart Big Billion Days, etc.), and BAU (Business-As-Usual) performance marketing.

%CF; Manage real-time campaign monitoring during high-impact events—identify performance trends, competitive activity, and opportunities for mid-event optimizations.

%CF; Develop marketplace-specific strategies including keyword research, competitor analysis, product ASIN optimization, and pricing alignment.


Marketplace Operations & Execution

%CF; Partner closely with marketplace account managers and client operations teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.

%CF; Coordinate on inventory readiness, listing optimization (titles, descriptions, images, A+ content), and stock monitoring to prevent stockouts during campaigns.

%CF; Maintain campaign setup hygiene—correct product feeds, keyword mapping, category alignment, and bid structures.

%CF; Work with clients and marketplace POCs to resolve issues, escalate blockers, and ensure compliance with marketplace policies.

%CF; Track inventory velocity and adjust campaign budgets/bids in real-time to match stock availability.


Campaign Optimization & Testing

%CF; Lead continuous A/B testing across ad creative, messaging, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies.

%CF; Conduct deep-dive performance analysis to identify growth levers, inefficiencies, and scaling opportunities across all channels.

%CF; Stay updated on platform algorithm changes, marketplace policy updates, and best practices to ensure clients stay competitive.

%CF; Test marketplace-specific tactics (seasonal keyword shifts, competitor bid strategies, product bundling campaigns, etc.).

%CF; Translate client business goals into measurable KPIs and optimize toward them relentlessly.


Budget & Performance Management

%CF; Own budget planning, allocation, and pacing across channels and marketplaces per client requirements.

%CF; Balance spend between paid channels (Meta, Google) and marketplace advertising to maximize overall efficiency.

%CF; Monitor daily performance metrics and alert clients to trends, challenges, and opportunities.

%CF; Provide weekly/monthly performance reports with clear insights, recommendations, and next steps—segmented by channel and marketplace.

%CF; Ensure efficient spend across all platforms while maximizing ROI and hitting agreed-upon targets (CAC, ROAS, ACOS/ACoS, CPC, conversion rates, etc.).


Analytics Excellence

%CF; Track and monitor key metrics daily—conversions, CAC, ROAS, ACOS (Amazon Cost of Sale), click-through rates, conversion rates, and channel-specific KPIs.

%CF; Build and maintain dashboards (Google Sheets, Looker, or similar) for client reporting, including marketplace-specific metrics.

%CF; Conduct root-cause analysis when performance dips and recommend corrective actions across channels.

%CF; Reconcile data across Google Analytics, ad platforms, marketplace dashboards, and client backends.

%CF; Monitor competitive benchmarks and marketplace trends to identify strategic opportunities.


Client & Stakeholder Management

%CF; Serve as the primary point of contact for client performance marketing needs across all channels and marketplaces.

%CF; Present findings, strategies, and recommendations to clients with clarity and data backing.

%CF; Collaborate closely with Skyah Studio's design, creative, and strategy teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.

%CF; Proactively communicate performance trends, risks, and opportunities to clients.

%CF; Manage marketplace-specific communications with vendor managers and platform support teams on behalf of clients.


What Makes You a Great Fit

%CF; 4-6 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing (agency or in-house D2C/B2B brands), with at least 1-2 years managing marketplace advertising.

%CF; Strong marketplace expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Ads, and other marketplace platforms.
  • Proficiency with Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
  • Understanding of marketplace algorithms, keyword optimization, and ASIN strategy.
  • Experience running festive and mega-sale campaigns on Indian marketplaces (a big plus).

%CF; Proven expertise managing $50K+ monthly ad budgets across paid channels and marketplaces with clear accountability for ROI and performance targets.

%CF; Strong technical skills across Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Ads, Google Analytics, and marketplace reporting dashboards.

%CF; Data-driven mindset —comfortable with numbers, dashboards, SQL basics, and analytical thinking.

%CF; Excellent communication —able to translate data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

%CF; Multi-client management —experience juggling multiple clients or projects with competing priorities.
