Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET 8, and ASP.NET Core MVC.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs to support enterprise application integrations.
- Develop secure, high-performance solutions following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads to drive application modernization initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Design and optimize database solutions utilizing SQL Server and MySQL Aurora.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services, including:
- Amazon S3
- AWS Secrets Manager
- Ensure applications are resilient, scalable, and secure within cloud environments.
- Implement secure coding practices and security-first development principles.
- Integrate authentication and authorization solutions using:
- Okta / OIDC
- CyberArk
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using NUnit and Moq.
- Support CI/CD and DevOps practices leveraging Docker and related technologies.
- Investigate and resolve production issues across application, API, and database layers.
- Analyze application failures, performance issues, and defects through structured troubleshooting methodologies.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis activities.
- Understand when to independently resolve issues and when to escalate appropriately.
- Partner with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts, design decisions, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- C#
- .NET 8
- ASP.NET Core MVC
- REST APIs
- SQL Server and/or MySQL Aurora
- Experience working with AWS cloud services.
- Strong understanding of secure application development practices.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit and Moq.
- Experience with Docker-based containerized deployments.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with Hangfire for background job processing.
- Experience integrating Okta, OIDC, or similar identity platforms.
- Experience utilizing CyberArk or enterprise secrets management solutions.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Prior experience supporting mission-critical production applications.
- Experience within large global organizations and highly regulated environments.
