Application Developer

Summary:

The Application Developer role involves resolving system incidents, developing applications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize the quality of integrated solutions. The position requires a strong background in .NET programming, business intelligence tools, and SQL server administration.

Responsibilities:

• Resolve system incidents on key applications used in several Eastern Europe Area (EEA) countries.
• Develop applications in .NET and implement Epics, Futures, and User Stories based on business requirements.
• Develop and configure Business Intelligence and Analytics tools, such as Power BI.
• Coordinate and collaborate with system vendors to adjust requirements for business needs.
• Create and execute unit test plans and support system and integration test efforts.
• Analyze and resolve code defects and administer the system.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and testers to optimize the quality of integrated solutions.
• Interface with other IT areas and business customers.
• Handle projects or work with defined scope in own discipline, typically with a short-term focus.
• Work with guidance on small-scale team/unit projects and solve problems in own specialty areas.
• Make worthwhile improvements to existing programs and procedures and suggest improvements for work processes in own area.
• Work for consensus and contribute to the achievement of work group goals.
• Ensure that technical documentation is maintained and up to date.

Requirements:

• 4-year accredited university/college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4 years of experience as an IT Developer.
• 4 years of experience in supporting a main application or any other leasing system.

Required Skills:

• Advanced .NET programming skills for the implementation of new features.
• Experience in administration of SQL server (MSSQL and database management).
• Software Development/Configuration knowledge.
• Understanding of software technologies and application hosting environments.
• Knowledge in Business Intelligence and Analytics tools.
• Advanced experience in ITIL processes (ITIL) and SLAs.
