Business Analyst - Insurance Domain (4 to 6 Years Experience)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 4 to 6 years of experience in the insurance sector. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will gather requirements, map processes, and ensure project delivery across Life, Health, or General Insurance domains.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering Conduct workshops with stakeholders to capture detailed business requirements.
Documentation Create functional specification documents, user stories, BRDs, and FRDs.
Process Mapping Map "As-Is" and "To-Be" business processes using workflow diagrams.
Domain Alignment Apply knowledge of insurance lifecycles like underwriting, policy administration, and claims.
System Integration Work with technical teams to translate business logic into system designs.
UAT Management Define acceptance criteria, create test cases, and lead User Acceptance Testing.
Stakeholder Management Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience 4 to 6 years as a Business Analyst specifically within the insurance industry.
Domain Knowledge Deep understanding of core insurance operations (Claims, Billing, Policy Core, or Underwriting).
Methodologies Strong proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks.
Tools Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, or similar mapping tools.
Data Skills Basic SQL knowledge for data querying and analysis is highly preferred.
Soft Skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
