Job Description
Leading Role:
Plan and propose milestones for targets, performance parameters, and evaluation criteria for engineering group, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
Propose strategy and contribute to key initiatives and decision-making.
Propose and implement execution strategies for complex and novel topics. Decide on execution strategies for complicated and occasional topics.
Collaborate with other departments and functions, ensuring the seamless integration of engineering projects and fostering a cooperative and cohesive work environment
Implement sub-responsibilities by delegating tasks appropriately and overseeing their completion.
Inform and escalate important topics to senior management and relevant stakeholders in time.
Plan and allocate resources and budgets effectively, balancing project demands with available capacities
Drive and report on project progress, ensuring that all milestones and targets are met in a timely manner.
Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance engineering processes and outcomes.
Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance engineering processes in accordance with relevant legal and industry standards.
Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as product engineering providing comprehensive technical guidance and support to the team to enhance their performance and ensure high quality products.
Mentor and support other team members by fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment to enhance team capabilities.
Functional Role:
Responsible for Product Engineering of Industrial Hydraulic valves.
Independently handle Product engineering support for series business to worldwide stakeholders.
Develop new conceptual design solutions for hydraulic valves.
Perform and review engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, Design FMEA etc.
Simplify design using advance engineering techniques for cost reduction of products.
Qualifications
1 Job Title / Designation:Deputy manager (Design)
2 Location: AhmP, Ahmedabad
3 Essential Educational Qualification: B.E. - Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics
4 Preferred Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech - Mechanical Engineering
5 No. of years of Experience required: 8 to 12 years (min 6-8 yrs relevant industry experience in hydraulics component design)
Additional Information
Knowledge / Specialization / Experience / Expertise required in the areas like:
Must
Experience with Hydraulic valves design and applications knowhow.
Experience in design of hydraulic products and components/parts
Experience on product development process.
Experience on FMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD & T.
Good English Communication and collaboration skills
Software expertise: CREO & PDM - Modelling and drawing for machined and casting parts, assembly of hydraulic valves
Experience in Advance engineering part / component design.
Advantage with
Structural FEM and CFD knowledge
SAP knowledge.
Advanced Manufacturing technique knowledge.
