| Description: Required Skills & Experience • 5–8 years of hands on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA. • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL architecture, internals, and performance tuning. • In-depth knowledge of replication, HA frameworks, and clustering. • Solid understanding of Linux OS, networking concepts, and system performance. • Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure PostgreSQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus. • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Nagios, pgBadger, pg_stat_statements). • Strong SQL skills and ability to review/optimize application queries. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with migration tools like pg_dump, pg_restore, DMS, ora2pg, etc. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes with PostgreSQL operators (e.g., Crunchy, Zalando). • Exposure to database performance benchmarking. • PostgreSQL certification (optional but preferred). | |||
