JD: Key Responsibilities Deploy and configure Cisco XDR solutions (e.g., SecureX, Secure Endpoint, Secure Network Analytics, Umbrella) to integrate with existing security tools. Monitor security events, conduct alert triage, and perform threat hunting using Cisco XDR analytics to identify and contain threats. Optimize detection rules, correlation logic, and develop automated response playbooks to reduce False Positives and improve Mean Time to Detection/Response (MTTD/MTTR). Act as a technical point of contact for clients, resolving complex security issues and ensuring 24/7 network security, often in high-pressure situations. Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, provide reports on security posture, and submit defect reports when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including threat detection, incident response, and SIEM/SOAR concepts. Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure products, including SecureX, Secure Endpoint (AMP), Secure Firewall, and Secure Network Analytics. Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS) and infrastructure (LAN/WAN). Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, for creating custom integrations and automating workflows. |
