Informatica Admin
Description
- The Informatica Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Informatica platforms, ensuring system availability, performance, security, and reliability across environments.
- Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Informatica PowerCenter / IICS / MDM environments
- Manage DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments
- Monitor Informatica services, workflows, and system health
- Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and issue troubleshooting
- Configure and manage Integration Services, Repository Services, Domain, Grid & HA setups
- Handle user, role, and security administration (LDAP/AD integration where applicable)
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) processes
- Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis
- Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting or Python
- Maintain operational documentation and SOPs
- Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and application teams

- Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter Administration
- Working knowledge of IICS administration
- Experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting
- Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Understanding of HA, Grid, and DR configurations
- Familiarity with job schedulers and monitoring tools (preferred)
