SharePoint SPFx Developer – Upgrade, Migration & Data Cleanup Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint SPFx Developer to lead upgrade, migration, and data cleanup activities across multiple tenants. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing SPFx solutions, managing tenant-specific migrations, and ensuring data integrity during cleanup operations.
Key Responsibilities
• SPFx Development & Upgrade: Develop and upgrade custom web parts, extensions, and solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx). Optimize SPFx solutions for performance and security compliance.
• Migration Activities: Execute SharePoint migration projects using tools like Sharegate, AvePoint, or Metalogix. Reconfigure PowerApps and update object/library references across tenants.
• Data Cleanup: Perform data cleanup based on business rules, removing obsolete configurations and content from multiple tenants. Validate and map data using Python/Alteryx/Power BI/Tableau for dashboards and reporting.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Create test cases and conduct functional testing of migrated applications. Track and resolve defects during UAT and production deployment.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of migration and cleanup processes.
Required Skills
• Strong proficiency in SPFx architecture, React.js, TypeScript, and Fluent UI.
• Experience with SharePoint Online and On-Premises platforms.
• Hands-on experience in migration tools (Sharegate, AvePoint, Metalogix).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, PnP.js, REST API.
• Knowledge of PowerApps, Power Automate, and integration with third-party applications.
• Expertise in data validation and cleanup methodologies.
Good-to-Have
• Exposure to Python, Alteryx, Power BI, and Tableau for data mapping and dashboard reconfiguration.
• Understanding of project management activities for large-scale migrations
