| Description: An ANZ Release Lead manages software release lifecycles, ensuring projects align with technology strategy, timelines, and quality standards, They lead cross-functional teams, overseeing, coordinating, and executing complex, high-visibility IT implementations using Agile and SDLC methodologies. Key Responsibilities • Release Management: Plan and manage the scheduling, deployment, and testing of software builds using Agile/SDLC, • Project Oversight: Coordinate interdependencies across multiple streams of work to ensure on-time and in-budget delivery, • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, technical personnel, and vendors for smooth deployment, • Risk & Service Management: Handle incident management, service improvement plans (PIRs/RCAs), and ensure IT service availability, • Governance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to ANZ technology strategy, compliance, and produce reports on release performance, • Experience: Generally requires 8+ years of experience in IT service management, release management, or software engineering within complex, fast-paced environments. • Technical Skills: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and SDLC/ITIL frameworks, • Leadership: Strong team leadership, mentoring, and motivation abilities. • Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in the banking sector is frequently required. | |||
