| Description: Job Title: Databricks Administrator Infosys Limited is seeking a Databricks Administrator.In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model by managing, optimizing, and securing Databricks environments. You will independently research emerging capabilities within the Databricks ecosystem, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute to platform best practices and standards. You will provide inputs for designing robust data and analytics platforms; develop and implement administration procedures; and provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex platform issues with the objective of ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of Databricks workloads—all in compliance with the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys. You will be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications: • 8–10 years of experience in IT, data or digital roles, with 5+ years focused on Databricks and Azure administration • Hands-on experience administering Azure Databricks or Databricks on AWS/GCP, including workspace provisioning, cluster configuration, job management, and access control. • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Unity Catalog, secret scopes, audit logging, and network/security configuration within Databricks. • Experience managing large-scale data processing environments, optimizing compute usage, and supporting mission-critical data pipelines. • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Strong understanding of Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks workspace architecture. • Experience with CI/CD for Databricks, including tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), including networking concepts like VNETs, private endpoints, and firewalls. • Ability to troubleshoot performance, cluster stability, and job execution issues within Databricks. • Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks. • Strong communication and analytical skills. • Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising both Business and Technology teams. • Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment | |||
