Job Purpose: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer ensures smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery in the precast factory through preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing breakdowns, supporting continuous production operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Educational Qualification:

B.tech/ Diploma in Mechanical

Work Experience:

7-10 years with construction equipments like batching plants, tower cranes etc.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment (conveyors, mixers, batching plants, hydraulic systems, cranes, etc.). Conduct regular inspections to detect wear, lubrication needs, or mechanical failures in advance.

Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in production machinery and plant utilities. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and production loss.

Installation & Commissioning:

Oversee installation, alignment, and commissioning of new mechanical systems and machinery. Ensure equipment meets design specifications and factory operational requirements.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to mechanical safety standards and statutory requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation. Support audits and risk assessments.

Performance Improvement:

Analyze breakdown history to identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions. Recommend and implement modifications to improve machine reliability, efficiency, and lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management:

Work with electrical, automation, and production teams for integrated maintenance planning. Supervise mechanical technicians and external contractors for maintenance activities. Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement, equipment servicing, and AMC.
