Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, highly structured, and experienced Principal to take charge of our school’s administrative, operational, and co-curricular leadership.
At DaVinci, our classroom academic portfolio is managed by an exclusive Dean of Academics. The Principal holds ultimate institutional accountability, acting as a vital facilitator who collaborates closely with the Dean to provide the resources and administrative backing needed for academic success.
Crucially, the Principal owns the \"beyond-the-classroom\" student experience. This includes driving our mandatory daily 1-hour sports program for all students, as well as spearheading all co-curricular and extra-curricular initiatives to ensure a vibrant campus life.
Important Note: The selected candidate must currently reside in close proximity or be fully prepared to relocate close to the school campus to ensure seamless management of daily Responsibilities
- Holistic Student Development (Sports & Activities): Direct and oversee the implementation of our mandatory daily 1-hour games/sports program for all students. Strategize, design, and manage all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, clubs, and school events.
- Academic Collaboration & Facilitation: Partner closely with the Dean of Academics; facilitate their curriculum goals by aligning administrative workflows, scheduling, budgeting, and resources to support classroom excellence.
- Administrative & Operational Excellence: Oversee the entire daily administration, logistics, campus infrastructure, and non-academic operations.
- CBSE Compliance & Liaisoning: Manage all statutory requirements, documentation, affiliations, and inspections required by the CBSE board and local educational authorities.
- Discipline & Student Welfare: Maintain high standards of campus discipline, safety protocols, house systems, and student well-being.
- Stakeholder & Community Relations: Act as the primary institutional representative for parents, government bodies, vendors, and the local community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Post Graduate degree from a recognized university along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of administrative leadership experience (as Principal or Vice-Principal) strictly within CBSE affiliated schools .
- Preferred Background: Professionals with a strong foundation in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are strongly preferred due to their rigorous training in campus administration, sports integration, and CBSE compliance.
- Location/Residency: Must live close to the school or be willing to relocate to the immediate vicinity of the campus.
- Leadership Style: Collaborative, energetic, and highly organized. A leader who values physical education and creative arts just as much as academic scores.
