Position Title: Deputy Project Director (DPD), Pune for Luxury Segment

\n

Designation : DGM/GM

\n

Reporting to : CBO

\n

\n

Budget : Up to 40 LPA

\n

    \n
  • Manage and coordinate projects through all phases of design, planning, construction, liaison and sales
  • \n
  • Provide leadership for site project management function by managing, coordinating, and developing staff and third party vendors
  • \n
  • Partner with Business Head to manage the project operations.
  • \n
\n

Key Roles and Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Develop and propose strategic plan, program and budget for projects under control to Business Head
  • \n
  • Ensure assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting project's internal stakeholders needs, business objectives and design guidelines
  • \n
  • Manage programs and managers within the project to ensure successful completion and minimum deviation from the project plan in terms of scope, schedule, cost and quality
  • \n
  • Interface with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval
  • \n
  • Responsible for tracking and reviewing project Liaison activities. Engagement in Liaison activities has to come from Management on case to case basis
  • \n
  • Responsible for ensuring that site based team
  • \n
  • Manages the project team including architects, engineers, workplace consultants, construction managers and administrative support
  • \n
  • Develops schedules and budgets for assigned projects
  • \n
  • Identifies and evaluates alternative solutions to best meet program goals
  • \n
  • Prepares detailed construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding authorization
  • \n
  • Interact with function heads to clarify specific needs and requirements
  • \n
  • Ensure best utilization of resources, minimum wastage of raw materials and emergency (unplanned) purchases
  • \n
  • In certain circumstances, the Deputy Project Director will be responsible for managing special studies, initiatives or due diligence assignments on mutual agreement with up-line manager
  • \n
  • Identify potential risks for the function pursuing a rapid growth strategy and develop a risk mitigation strategy
  • \n
  • D&D Head and DPD should ensure that the project efficiencies related to Design are met as per the guidelines set by the Leadership during the pre-construction/design phase by value engineering.

Education and Experience

\n
    \n
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related technical field
  • \n
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the direct management of large, complex real estate projects with desired experience/expertise in : Program Management, Site analysis and approvals, Budget Control and Estimation, Design and construction coordination, Project scheduling & monitoring
