Role Description The Assistant Professor in Cardiac Care Technology will be responsible for teaching undergraduate students, delivering lectures, practical demonstrations, and tutorials in cardiac care and related clinical subjects. The role includes designing and updating course materials, preparing lesson plans, evaluating student performance through assignments and examinations, and guiding students in academic projects. The faculty member will participate in curriculum development, academic advising, and mentoring to support student success. Additional responsibilities include contributing to departmental activities, engaging in research and professional development, and maintaining academic records in line with institute policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based at GGI in Khanna.
Qualifications

  • Advanced academic background in Cardiac Care Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related allied health discipline (Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree with strong clinical experience may be considered as per regulatory norms).

  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, cardiac diagnostic procedures, cardiac interventions, and patient monitoring in clinical settings.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, design course content, conduct assessments, and use modern instructional methods and educational technology.
  • \n
  • Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student body.
  • \n
  • Commitment to academic excellence, ethical practice, and continuous professional development; prior teaching or clinical training experience is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to cardiac care technology programs and allied health education.
  • \n
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, participate in departmental initiatives, and contribute to research or scholarly activities.
