Senior SAP S/4HANA EAM Application Engineer (Enterprise Asset Management)
Location: Bengaluru (4 Days Work From Office, Monday Work From Home)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 Months)
Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Application Engineer to join a global ERP team supporting Chevron's large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) with proven implementation expertise. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, configure, implement, and support SAP EAM solutions while contributing to Chevron's long-term digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of SAP EAM business processes, SAP Fiori applications, configuration, integrations, and production support within an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA EAM implementation and rollout projects.
  • Configure SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
  • Design and implement SAP EAM business processes including preventive, corrective, breakdown, calibration, refurbishment, and maintenance planning.
  • Configure Functional Locations, Equipment, Work Centers, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, Notifications, Maintenance Orders, Catalogs, Measuring Points, Counters, and related master data.
  • Support SAP Fiori applications for Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Work with developers on functional specifications, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
  • Perform system testing including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Production validation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support application operations across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
  • Participate in data migration activities using SAP migration tools such as LTMC, LSMW, or related utilities.
  • Support deployments, cutover activities, go-live, and post-production stabilization.
  • Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and production support.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • 8–12 years of overall IT experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP EAM / SAP Plant Maintenance experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Experience in at least 2–3 SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or rollout projects.
  • Strong SAP EAM configuration experience.
