Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer to design, develop, and maintain data processing and reporting solutions using SAS technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS SQL, and data analysis, with experience in developing efficient ETL processes and supporting business reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Base SAS, SAS Macro, and SAS SQL.
• Design and optimize ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data validation processes.
• Perform data analysis, cleansing, and quality checks on large datasets.
• Optimize SAS programs for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams.
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Follow coding standards, documentation, and Agile development practices.

Required Skills

• 6–9 years of experience as a SAS Developer.
• Strong expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macro, SAS SQL, and PROC SQL.
• Experience with data manipulation, ETL, and reporting.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.).
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAS programs.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Financial Services domain.
• Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS DI Studio, or SAS Viya.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is an added advantage.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is desirable.
