About The Client:

About The Job:
- The L2 Infrastructure Engineer will focus on the operational health, deployment, and automation of our containerized and virtualized environments.
- Deployment: Perform Red Hat OpenShift deployments using Agent-based installers and HCP (Hosted Control Planes).
- OpenShift Virtualization: Deploy and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) directly within OpenShift using KubeVirt; perform basic VM migrations and lifecycle management.
- Automation: Execute and modify Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning, patching, and configuration management of Linux and Windows nodes.
- Operations: Support hybrid environments with knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V to assist in workload transitions.
- Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2 support for OpenShift cluster health, pod connectivity, and persistent storage issues.
- OpenShift: 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP) and Kubernetes.
- Virtualization: Strong understanding of OpenShift Virtualization; functional knowledge of VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Automation: Proficiency in Ansible (running playbooks, understanding YAML structures).
- OS: Solid administration skills in RHEL (Linux) and Windows Server.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
