Workday Financials Consultant

About The Job:

• Experience: 5+ Years
• Client is seeking an experienced Workday Financials Consultant with strong expertise in configuring and supporting Workday Financials solutions.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across key Financials modules, particularly Order-to-Cash (O2C), and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with US-based stakeholders and project teams.

Essential Job Functions:

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday Financials modules, including:
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Projects
  • Revenue Management
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand financial process requirements and translate them into Workday configurations.
• Collaborate with integration teams to define, validate, and troubleshoot finance-related data flows and interfaces.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data reconciliation activities, defect resolution, and production support.
• Analyze business processes and recommend configuration improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions, solution discussions, and client workshops.
• Ensure system configurations align with business needs, compliance requirements, and Workday best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and issue resolution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Workday Financials configuration, implementation, and support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Workday Financials modules, particularly:
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Projects
  • Revenue Management
• Workday O2C (Order-to-Cash) Certification – Mandatory / Strongly Preferred.
• Experience supporting global clients and interacting directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Workday Financials certifications.
• Experience working with US-based clients and stakeholders.
• Exposure to Workday integrations and finance data flows.
• Experience supporting implementation, enhancement, and production support engagements.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work directly with US stakeholders and participate in client-facing discussions.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with presence at the customer location in Bangalore 1–2 days per week.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
