Data Analyst

Must Have

• Good banking domain background with Advanced SQL knowledge is a MUST
• Expert in Advanced Excel functions used for data analysis
• Ability to Understand Physical and Logical Data Models and understanding of Data Quality Concepts.
• Write SQL Queries to pull/fetch data from systems/DWH
• Understanding of Data WareHousing concepts
• Understanding the Data Movement between Source and Target applications and perform data quality checks to maintain the data integrity, accuracy and consistency
• Experience in analysis/reconciliation of data as per the business requirements
• Conduct research and Analysis in order to come up with solution to business problems
• Understanding requirements directly from clients/ client stakeholders and writing code to extract relevant data and produce report

Good to Have

• VBA Programming in Excel
• Experience in DWH development/tools like Talend, Ab Initio

Responsibilities

• Interpret data, analyze results using Data Analysis techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data repositories for performing analysis
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data repositories
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and "clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Good exposure and hands on exp with Excel features used for data analysis & reporting

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Exclusions (Not eligible for this role)
Associates with No knowledge of Retail/commercial banking products. Associates who do not have exposure to working on banking customers.
Basic level knowledge of SQL
