Role: Technical Lead – AI-Enabled Software Engineering We are seeking highly skilled Technical Lead to help shape the next generation of software engineering through AI-enabled development, intelligent automation, and modern cloud-native architecture. In this role, you will lead engineering teams in building scalable, secure, and resilient applications while driving end-to-end automation across the software development lifecycle, translating business goals into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will combine deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership to improve speed, quality, and developer productivity through modern engineering practices and AI-powered tools. What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications and platform services across the full SDLC.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices across the SDLC, including requirements refinement, code assistance, test generation, documentation, release validation, and operational insights.
- Build and evolve cloud-native, API-first, and microservices-based solutions using modern engineering frameworks and platform services.
- Establish and enforce standards for architecture, code quality, security, observability, performance, and release readiness.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, estimation, technical coaching, and day-to-day problem solving.
- Partner with product, architecture, QA, security, and DevOps teams to accelerate delivery while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies, AI tools, and automation opportunities to improve developer productivity and business outcomes.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong experience with technologies such as AWS Services, Node.js, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, Python, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native engineering, microservices, DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production support practices.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools or GenAI platforms to improve development workflows, quality, or operational efficiency.
- Strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical outcomes.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong hands-on software engineering experience with modern backend and full-stack technologies such as Java, Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, and REST or event-driven integration patterns.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and platform scalability using AWS cloud services.
- Experience building enterprise-grade applications and platform services using technologies such as AWS, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted engineering tools and GenAI platforms, including code assistants, automated testing, intelligent documentation, workflow orchestration, and agent-based automation.
- Strong system design, debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance speed, quality, security, and maintainability.
- Experience leading teams in Agile environments and delivering software in complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Hands-on exposure to engineering productivity tools, agent-based workflows, intelligent automation, or LLM-enabled developer platforms.
- Familiarity with security, governance, compliance, and scalable architecture practices in regulated environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value and guide cross-functional teams.
