Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and optimization of the organization's Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform.
  • Define and enforce metadata standards, taxonomy, naming conventions, and asset governance policies.
  • Manage the complete digital asset lifecycle, including creation, approval, storage, distribution, archival, and retirement.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, product, legal, and IT teams to streamline asset management processes.
  • Ensure digital assets are organized, searchable, secure, and compliant with organizational policies.
  • Monitor DAM system performance and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Perform asset audits, eliminate duplicates, and maintain version control.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and best practices for DAM usage.
  • Support DAM integrations with CMS, PIM, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on asset usage, adoption, and system performance.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Enterprise Content Management.
  • Hands-on experience with DAM platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets, Bynder, Aprimo, Brandfolder, Canto, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, taxonomy, digital asset governance, and content lifecycle management.
  • Experience with DAM workflows, permissions, version control, and digital rights management.
  • Familiarity with CMS, PIM, and cloud-based content management systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Library & Information Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and enterprise content ecosystems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of APIs, DAM integrations, and workflow automation is an added advantage.
  • DAM-related certifications or experience with Agile methodologies are a plus.
