Role Descriptions: Role – AOE (Application Operations Engineer)
Experience Range – 3 to 5 Years
Must Have– Must have Knowledge of Linux, MySQL and Kubernetes. Open to work in Rotational shifts.
Location – Bangalore
• Must have Knowledge of Linux, MySQL and Kubernetes
• Minimum 3 years of overall experience, with minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in performing application operation support activities for enterprise applications including client/ server and web applications;
• Familiar and good working knowledge of J2EE applications, mobile applications, programming languages such as Java, MySQL and scripting capabilities
• Kubernetes, Redis, S3/MinIO, Rabbit MQ and Kafka Management.
• Experience with Jira and other issue / ticketing tools.
Roles and Responsibilities
— Administration, troubleshooting and fixing configuration issues in different applications, including but not limited to enrolment & update packet processing, authentications, portal management and other associated applications.
— Applications benchmarking activities including set up of benchmarking environment(s), monitoring application performance during benchmarking;
— Regular automated monitoring of all applications, managed within the client environment, through necessary alerts and triggers, and using appropriate tools and dashboards;
— Regular analysis of application events and logs generated in all the subsystems to identify vulnerabilities and taking necessary action, in accordance with the results of the log analysis;
— Perform periodic health check of the applications, troubleshooting problems with required tools and automated scripts, analyzing and implementing rectification measures;
— Administer container and container orchestration environments;
— Work with release teams to deploy applications in different environments;
— Preparation of operational and business reports as required;
— Provide operational inputs to the Build & Release, Development teams to improve different applications;
— Automation of operations activities on a continuous basis;
— Database Management including RDBMS, NoSQL and big database;
