Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable platform capabilities, APIs, and internal tools using a spec-first approach.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools to generate, validate, refactor, and document software solutions.
• Translate responsive design concepts into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Develop reusable frontend and backend components that can be adopted across multiple teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions focused on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Build and maintain code generation, automation, and developer productivity workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive long-term solutions.
• Collaborate closely with US-based and global stakeholders while demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience building modern web applications and internal platforms.
• Proficiency in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Backend development experience using Node.js, Python, PHP/Symfony, or similar frameworks.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with API-first and contract-first development (OpenAPI, Swagger, GraphQL, JSON/YAML schemas).
• Hands-on use of AI tools such as GPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar for code generation, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• Experience designing repeatable engineering workflows that reduce manual coding through automation and code generation.
• Experience with service-oriented or microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, reliability, and system design.
• Experience developing reusable services, APIs, and platform components.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and observability tooling.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Symfony or Drupal-based systems.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap, jQuery, or legacy web platforms.
• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Backstage, or developer tooling ecosystems.
• Experience with code generation frameworks and scaffolding tools.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and platform modernization initiatives.
