L2 support (ETL and .NET)

About The Job:

• The L2 Support Engineer provides advanced technical support for .NET applications, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
• The role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex application, integration, and database issues that require deeper technical expertise.

Essential Job Functions:

• Investigating production incidents.
• Analyzing application logs.
• Debugging .NET code.
• Troubleshooting ETL workflows.
• Monitoring data pipelines.
• Resolving data inconsistencies.
• Optimizing SQL queries.
• Ensuring successful execution of scheduled ETL jobs.
• Collaborating with development, infrastructure, and database teams to implement fixes.
• Performing root cause analysis and recommending preventive improvements.
• Supporting production deployments.
• Validating releases.
• Maintaining technical documentation.
• Developing support scripts and automation where applicable.
• Monitoring application performance.
• Participating in problem management activities.
• Mentoring L1 support staff.
• Providing technical guidance during major incidents.
• Ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
• Contributing to continuous service improvement through process optimization and proactive monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Advanced technical support experience for .NET applications.
• Experience with ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience analyzing application logs and resolving production incidents.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and resolving data inconsistencies.
• Experience monitoring data pipelines and scheduled ETL jobs.
• Knowledge of production deployments, release validation, and technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with development, infrastructure, and database teams.
• Experience with root cause analysis and preventive improvement initiatives.
• Strong mentoring, communication, and problem management skills.
• Understanding of security and operational compliance standards.
