About The Job:
- Execute acceptance test run on release candidate software, guided by existing test plans. File detailed issue reports for failing tests; work with automation and development engineers to verify fixes. Review specifications and test plans, identifying gaps in coverage and supplementing with new test cases. Manage desktop environments for accurate install/update testing.
- Execute acceptance test runs on release candidate software using existing test plans.
- Identify, document, and report software defects with detailed bug reports.
- Collaborate with automation and development teams to verify defect fixes.
- Review specifications and test plans, identify coverage gaps, and create additional test cases.
- Manage desktop environments for installation and update testing.
- Execute integration and regression testing.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve issues and validate fixes.
- Maintain and update test plans and test cases.
- Ensure software quality throughout the testing lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) or Software Testing.
- Experience in executing test plans and documenting defects.
- Hands-on experience with Integration Testing and Regression Testing.
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking systems and the bug lifecycle.
- Experience reading, updating, and maintaining test plans.
- Familiarity with test case management tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing web applications.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services testing.
- Basic scripting skills in JavaScript and/or Python.
- Experience working in dynamic Agile environments.
