WHAT WILL I BE DOING AT CLIENT?
\n Describe the short-term & long-term responsibilities of the role - operational, program, cross-functional, team, etc.
\n You will be responsible for:
\n 1. Architecture Design and Implementation:
\n ? Design scalable and robust Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions tailored to the automotive industry's specific requirements.
\n ? Develop and maintain high-level and detailed system architecture documentation, including workflow diagrams, integration points, and system interfaces.
\n ? Define technical standards and best practices for Teamcenter deployment, ensuring alignment with automotive engineering and manufacturing processes.
\n 2. Customization and Configuration:
\n ? Customization and configuration of Teamcenter modules
\n ? Develop custom solutions and extensions using Teamcenter
\n ? Hands on Code Development for customizations in C++, Java
\n ? Implement advanced features such as Variant Management, Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP), and NX/Capital/Catia integration.
\n ? Expected to be involved in Coding/Configuration for 30% of time
\n 3. Integration and Data Management:
\n ? Design and implement integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems, such as ERP (SAP), MES, and CAD tools.
\n ? Manage data migration and consolidation strategies, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems.
\n ? Oversee the implementation of PLM collaboration frameworks for teams.
\n 4. Performance Optimization:
\n ? Conduct system performance tuning, load balancing, and capacity planning.
\n ? Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
\n 5. Project Leadership:
\n ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to ensure PLM solutions meet business objectives.
\n ? Lead the rollout of Teamcenter implementations, including system testing, training, and go-live support.
\n 6. Compliance and Governance:
\n ? Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, including ISO, APQP, and automotive-specific PLM regulations.
\n ? Establish robust change management and version control processes within Teamcenter.
\n WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE & SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?
\n Required Skills and Qualifications:
\n ? Technical Expertise:
\n ? 10 12 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter, with at least 5 years as an architect in the automotive domain.
\n ? Hands on Experience in Teamcenter modules such as BOM Management, Change Management, Manufacturing, Lifecycle Management and Requirements Management.
\n ? Integration and CAD Knowledge:
\n ? Strong understanding of CAD tools (NX, CATIA, Solidworks and Capital) and integration with PLM systems.
\n ? Hands-on experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP and other enterprise systems.
\n ? Automotive Domain Knowledge:
\n ? Expertise in automotive engineering processes, including concept design, digital twin, and manufacturing execution.
\n ? Familiarity with automotive standards.
\n ? Soft Skills:
\n ? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
\n ? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n WHAT SHOULD I HAVE GRADUATED IN?
\n ? B.Tech or equivalent from a premier university
\n ? Certification in Siemens Teamcenter or equivalent PLM systems.
\n ? Proficiency in C++, Java
\n ? Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
