Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
\nReview of structural schemes for various residential projects in terms of structural efficiency and buildability
\nIn-house peer review of structural engineering deliverables from consultants - design basis reports, geotechnical report, analysis models, design calculations, reinforcement detailing & GFC drawings.
\nIdentification and evaluation of new consultants and vendors for structural engineering
\nLiterature survey/study on structural analysis & design advancements, national and international codes/standards, current global trends, new technology etc.
\nCross-functional collaboration to support costing, contracts and procurement, planning, quality, safety etc. to have control over project cost, time, quality and safety.
\nReview of retrofitting scheme.
\nEngineering management process development
\nIn-house work on organizational level initiatives such as standardization, cost optimization, reduction of construction time etc.
\nLeading structural Engineering process audit
\nStructural quantity validation
\nExposure to BIM implementation

\nProviding expert advice in Structural systems,
\ndesign and detailing of various structural elements isolated/combined footings, raft, pile, pile-raft, columns, shear walls, slabs, beams, retaining walls etc.
\nIn-depth study of design aspects and relative advantages of different construction methodologies & creating guidelines - RCC, structural steel, precast, composite construction etc.
\nManaging external consultants and collaboration with cross-functional teams
\nUnderstanding of structural engineering analysis and design fundamentals
\nAbility to apply understanding in real-life projects effectively.
\nCollaboration with internal and external stakeholders
\nDevelopment work
\nComparison of different structural systems like framed structure, shear wall, flat slab, flat plate, waffle slab and arriving at cost effective alternative
\nComparison of different formwork systems like Mivan, tunnel form etc., and precast technology, on the layout, repetition and material consumption
\nUrge to learn new things and ability to analyze the data gathered through study
\nProcess adherence

\nPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:
\nThreshold Education Qualification & Experience
\nApplicants should be M. Tech (structures) from a reputed institution.
\n9+ years relevant experience in managing Structural design for high-rise buildings/ Township projects.
\nHands-on experience with software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, BIM 360 etc.
\nKnowledge of value engineering in design of structures at various design stages
