\n Your future duties and responsibilities
\n Job Overview:
\n CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Agentic AI Engineer with strong expertise in Gen AI to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

•8-12 years of experience in software engineering with deep exposure to AI/ML systems in production environments.
\n •Proven experience building RAG based systems, AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows—not just consuming AI APIs.
\n •Proven experience in using Agentic AI frameworks like Langchain, Langgraph, MS Agentic AI Framework, Crew AI, Google ADK (expertise in atleast one)
\n •Strong programming expertise in Python (required) and at least one of Java or React
\n •Experience building with OCR & Text Extraction technologies.
\n •Experience building document management or enterprise content management
\n •Experience building agentic systems for observability, automated remediation, or intelligent diagnostics (ideal background from AI-native or data observability or product organizations).
\n •Knowledge of OpenTelemetry, LiteLLM, ARIZE, distributed tracing systems, or similar observability stacks.
\n •Experience working with distributed systems, telemetry data, and observability architectures.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Foundational AI skills, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, agent orchestration, reasoning frameworks, and the ability to apply AI to improve engineering and operational outcomes.
\n •Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production workflows with proper guardrails and evaluation mechanisms.
\n •Strong understanding of AI-assisted development tooling and productivity optimization.
\n •Experience designing multi-step reasoning workflows and autonomous decision agents.
\n •A systems-thinking mindset that connects AI models, data pipelines, and operational workflows end-to-end.

\n Desired Skills
\n •Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior engineers and product leaders.
\n •Designing evaluation frameworks (offline + online)
\n •Experience with hallucination mitigation, guardrails, fallback strategies
\n •Observability for AI systems (prompt + model + agent telemetry)
\n •Experience building evaluation harnesses for LLM/agent systems (accuracy, latency, cost, safety)
\n •Knowledge of OpenAI embedding models; Cohere, Voyage AI, etc
