Senior SQL Developer

Overview The SQL Database Developer is to work within Data & Analytics team of developers in the delivery of current and emerging business requirements. You will bring your knowledge, expertise and work ethic in the fast-paced environment using Agile/Scrum methodology. This is a hands-on role requiring in-depth knowledge in SQL Server application development, project experience and project life cycle. Experience & Personal Attributes \n
• /MCA qualifications in Information Technology
\n
• 6-10 years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server stack
\n
• Strong knowledge of Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS)
\n
• Working experience ETL principals and techniques
\n
• A good understanding of data modelling and database schema design principals
\n
• Data normalization
\n
• Knowledge of database optimization techniques
\n
• Exceptional analytical skills in order to analyse and interpret business needs, and to provide constructive input into the development and technology solutions

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
\n
• Visual Studio Team Systems Database Edition; SSDT
\n
• Team Foundation Server
\n
• Exposure to cloud technologies, ., Microsoft Azure, AWS
\n
• Knowledge in Banking and Financial Services will be added advantage
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective inter-departmental and organisational relationships
