Video Product Testing (Automation and Manual) - Contract

Job Description:

Key Areas of Responsibility

\n
• Scrum collaboration Work closely with the Scrum team and development engineers to deliver a high-quality video product.
\n
• System test case development Create and execute system test cases based on user stories defined by the PO.
\n
• End-user scenario validation Understand end-user workflows, contribute to requirement/design reviews, and ensure product usability.
\n
• Acceptance criteria verification Define and validate acceptance criteria, develop test cases, and verify product/system compliance.
\n
• Automation scripting Develop and maintain automation test scripts for stories; leverage them during regression to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
\n
• Continuous integration support Actively support CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the development team.
\n
• Release quality monitoring Track release quality metrics and provide unbiased product quality reports to stakeholders for informed release decisions.
\n

Technical Skills

\n
• CCTV product knowledge Strong understanding of cameras, recorders, and video management systems.
\n
• Installation expertise Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of CCTV products.
\n
• Networking basics Solid knowledge of IP networking fundamentals.
\n
• Agile & SDLC/STLC Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software testing life cycle processes.
\n
• Test management tools Exposure to defect tracking, performance testing, and test management platforms.
\n
• Application testing Experience with desktop, mobile, and web application testing.
\n
• ATDD exposure Knowledge of Acceptance Test Driven Development practices.
\n
• Automation scripting Hands-on experience developing automation scripts using AI models, Selenium, NUnit, OR Python.
\n
• Performance testing Prior experience in performance and capacity testing of video applications is a plus.
\n
