Position : R&D Team Leader - Analytical Chemistry

\n

Location: Bengaluru, India (Bommasandra)

\n

Job Overview

\n

We're looking for an experienced R&D Team Leader - Analytical Chemistry to lead process

\n

research and development projects in our Agrochemicals business. The role involves managing

\n

a team of scientists while remaining hands-on at the bench, driving process innovation,

\n

optimization, and scale-up from lab to pilot plant. This position offers the opportunity to

\n

contribute directly to developing cost-effective, safe, and commercially viable technologies for

\n

key molecules.

\n

Key Requirements

\n

- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry / M.Sc. in Chemistry

\n

- Work experience - 3–5 years (Post Ph.D.) or 12–15 years (Post M.Sc.)

\n

- Relevant Industry experience in Indian Agrochemical R&D or Process Development roles.

\n

Skills and Responsibilities
\n %CF; Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of scientists while staying hands-on in lab work.
\n %CF; Expertise in process development, optimization, validation, and scale-up from lab to pilot
\n scale.
\n %CF; Strong experience in technology transfer and cost-effective, non-infringing process
\n development.
\n %CF; Solid understanding of reaction mechanisms, process impurities, and purification
\n techniques (distillation, crystallization, chromatography, etc.).
\n %CF; Skilled in analytical interpretation (NMR, Mass, HPLC, GC) and literature search
\n (SciFinder, Reaxys).
\n %CF; Proficient in technical documentation, ROS evaluation, and cost analysis.
\n %CF; Ensures lab safety, IP confidentiality, and effective cross-functional coordination to
\n deliver project goals.
