About the Role

Yayin Automation is looking for a talented Valve Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the design and development of industrial valves and valve components using CAD software. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of valve standards, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Ball Valves, Gate Valves, Globe Valves, Check Valves, Butterfly Valves, Plug Valves and Control Valve components.
\n
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Creo.
\n
• Develop General Arrangement (GA), manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings.
\n
• Perform engineering calculations including pressure, wall thickness, torque and material selection.
\n
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
\n
• Review customer specifications and international standards.
\n
• Coordinate with production, procurement and quality teams.
\n
• Support prototype development and product improvements.
\n
• Assist in resolving manufacturing and assembly issues.
\n
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ANSI, ISO and customer requirements.
\n

Required Skills

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

2–8 years of experience in industrial valve design.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo or Solid Edge.

Good understanding of:

\n

Knowledge of GD&T and engineering tolerances.

Experience preparing manufacturing drawings.

Familiarity with CNC machining, casting, forging and machining processes.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing valves up to 24 inches.
\n
• Knowledge of pressure vessel calculations.
\n
• Experience with actuated valves.
\n
• Familiarity with ERP/BOM management.
\n
• Experience with FEA or CFD will be an added advantage.
