Role : Cloud & Devops Engineer

Experience : 3 to 5 years

Location : Bangalore, Chennai (Hybrid)

Roles & Responsibilities:

\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise web application issues, including configuration in Unix/Linux environments with technologies like J2EE, WebSphere, Tomcat, and SQL.
\n
• Provide hands-on support for cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and utilize services such as EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, Route53, etc.
\n
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform for automation and infrastructure-as-code.
\n
• Write and manage Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions.
\n
• Create and execute automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting for operational efficiency.
\n
• Implement and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration.
\n
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem management, ensuring smooth operation of services.
\n
• Diagnose and resolve application performance issues and system bottlenecks in a proactive manner.
\n
• Operate in an Agile and DevOps environment, participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality, and following branching practices in GitHub .
\n
• Balance project work with unplanned tasks, regularly reassessing priorities based on operational needs.
\n
• Escalate and prioritize issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
\n

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) or MCA .
\n
• 2-4 years of experience in cloud and DevOps roles, supporting enterprise applications.
\n
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, etc.).
\n
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
\n
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation, with experience in Ansible a plus.
\n
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
\n
• Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD practices.
\n
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments, and application servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, or IIS.
\n
• Basic understanding of network technologies and Oracle databases .
\n
• Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
\n
• Experience with software testing (unit, functional, performance testing) is a plus.
\n
• Ability to work in an Agile environment with a focus on DevOps practices.
\n
• Experience with code reviews, ensuring code quality, and adhering to GitHub branching practices.
\n
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud-native architectures and DevOps tools.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
\n
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
