Business Development

\n

  1. Responsible for Business Development in the region assigned.
  2. \n
  3. Responsible for adding New Customers
  4. \n
  5. Responsible for retaining the existing customers
  6. \n
  7. Responsible for generating business for all Mitutoyo products and achieving sales targets of the individual / branch/ region.
  8. \n
  9. Work closely with the service department to bring in new business by giving right and economical solutions to the customers.
  10. \n
  11. Responsible to promote and organise exhibitions and seminars as well
  12. \n
  13. Responsible for tender business and follow ups in the respective region
  14. \n
  15. Achieving the Individual targets as allocated.

Reporting

  1. Responsible for giving detailed report to the manager on monthly/ regular basis / sales, forecast, sales activities, schedules and enquiry status (as per the MIS framework of MSA)
  2. \n
  3. Responsible in giving information about all competitor activities in the region. Providing regular market feedback on our products performance, customer expectations and competitor activity.
  4. \n

Operations & Coordination

    \n
  1. Responsible for getting all the outstanding payments of the branch cleared from customers
  2. \n
  3. Ensure all the sales persons weekly activity report are updated regularly and correctly.
  4. \n
  5. Responsible for utilising the branch resources in optimal way.
  6. \n
  7. Responsible for giving demonstration of products to the customers.
  8. \n

Customer Relationship management

    \n
  1. Responsible FOR maintaining relationship with customers. Responsible in developing and growing of long-term relationship with the customers.
  2. \n
  3. Regularly visits the major customers in the automotive & engineering establishments to generate enquiries and hence business revenue.
  4. \n
\n

Sales Process Related

    \n
  1. Responsible for providing account management like customer database, competitors activities, new projects coming up in the respective territory.
  2. \n
  3. Responsible in developing and maintaining prospect customer list based on the strategic marketing data and other sources for sales in our customer database.
  4. \n
  5. Responsible for giving / providing consultative solutions for sales to the prospective customers
  6. \n

Self-Development

\n
    \n
  1. Maintain and share case studies.
  2. \n
  3. Identify all personal training requirements and maintain regular product knowledge of the complete range we offer.
  4. \n
  5. Regularly update own skills and knowledge.
  6. \n
\n

Individual Responsibilities

    \n
  1. Tracking of EMD, Advance Bank Guarantee, Performance Bank guarantee, non-Disclosure agreements .
  2. \n
  3. Any Miscellaneous tasks assigned
