Job Description: Packaging Development Specialist

Exp- 8-10 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and industrialize primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for FMCG products across multiple SKUs
\n
• Partner with the brand team to translate consumer insights and brand strategy into effective packaging
\n
• Lead packaging development and innovation for new product launches, renovations, and promotions under tight timelines
\n
• Specify packaging materials and components optimized for high-speed filling, packing, and distribution
\n
• Conduct packaging performance, transport, shelf-life, and consumer-use testing
\n
• Support factory trials, line validations, and scale-up activities in high-volume manufacturing plants
\n
• Manage packaging suppliers, including technical alignment, cost negotiation, and performance evaluation
\n
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, material lightweighting, and sustainability
\n
• Ensure packaging complies with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., food contact, labeling, environmental regulations)
\n
• Troubleshoot packaging issues impacting line efficiency, quality, or consumer experience
\n
