QA Automation - Cypress/Playwright - India

Job Description : QA Automation

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand and validate data layer specifications.

• Write automated test cases using Cypress/Playwright with TypeScript to validate analytics implementations across web applications.
\n
• Implement and maintain continuous regression testing for data layers, performing pre and post-release checks after every deployment.
\n
• Identify and address issues related to analytics data accuracy and integrity promptly.
\n
• Optimize analytics implementations to ensure comprehensive tracking of user interactions and business metrics.
\n
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results related to analytics testing.
\n
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex analytics issues and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
\n
• Lead training sessions or workshops to educate team members on analytics best practices and tools.
\n
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements for new features or projects.
\n
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy of the organization.
\n
• Mentor junior team members in analytics validation techniques and automation practices.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on analytics testing and automation.
\n
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics, including extensive experience with analytics objects on web applications.
\n
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, particularly Cypress/Playwright with TypeScript, for regression testing.
\n
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with the Shopify platform is highly desirable.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
\n
• Experience in e-commerce or retail industries, particularly with Shopify-based applications.
\n
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
