About Rahul Anand, Founder & CEO:

About this role:
\n We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with 1.5+ years of experience in building modern,
\n scalable backend systems. The role demands strong proficiency in Java 17 and hands-on experience with
\n backend frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot. You'll work on distributed systems, cloud-native
\n services, and real-time applications using a robust technology stack that includes MySQL, Redis,
\n Elasticsearch, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS), and more.

Here's what will be expected out of youevery day:
\n • Design and develop backend systems using Java 17, leveraging modern frameworks like Spring and
\n Spring Boot.
\n • Build and maintain microservices with high availability, performance, and scalability.
\n • Model relational data and optimize database interactions using MySQL.
\n • Implement caching mechanisms using Redis.
\n • Develop search and indexing features using Elasticsearch.
\n • Build and expose secure, well-documented RESTful APIs.
\n • Create serverless workflows with AWS Lambda and expose endpoints using API Gateway.
\n • Integrate asynchronous messaging using AWS SQS, SNS, and ActiveMQ.
\n • Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
\n • Apply a solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to build efficient, maintainable code.

What we want:
\n • 1.5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development, including Java 17.
\n • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical
\n experience).
\n • Proficient in Spring and Spring Boot.
\n • Strong command of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
\n • Experience with Redis and Elasticsearch.
\n • Hands-on experience with AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EC2, S3, and RDS.
\n • Familiarity with ActiveMQ or similar message brokers.
\n • Excellent grasp of Data Structures, algorithms, multithreading, and system design.
\n • Proficient in version control and collaboration using GitHub.

What would be good to have:
\n • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
\n • Familiarity with observability and logging tools such as Kibana and Datadog.
\n • Knowledge of Consul for service discovery and configuration management.
\n • Practical use of AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude AI to accelerate development, automate
\n documentation, or assist with code quality and reviews.
\n • Understanding of API security, rate limiting, and best practices for cloud deployments.
