Senior Manager-Legal (Plotted)

Handle/Follow up on Court cases, as and when required. Coordinate with other departments within the organization to get timely information / documents that required for any court proceedings.

Collaborate with external Advocates to manage litigations of the organization pending before various courts of law including RERA, Consumer Forums, Civil Court, High Court, Supreme Court.

Tracking and monitoring of all the litigations and timely updating of day to day court proceedings.

Drafting of legal notices, reply to legal notices, review and vetting of various drafts shared by external Advocates and ensure timely filing of such documents before the concerned court.

Title due diligence, preparing preliminary title report, knowledge on land related cases, evaluate land records and conduct a thorough due diligence as and when required. Highlight the risk and mitigation strategies / options.

Drafting of Agreement to sell, Sale deeds, MOU, Lease deeds, and other contracts.

Keep track of existing laws and changes to laws governing real estate development. And Capitalize on any emerging opportunities for the benefit of the organization.

Ensure effective management of legal documents.

Desired qualification & experience: Bachelor of Law (LLB) with minimum experience of 10-12 years in the legal profession of court practice and real estate sector.

Required Knowledge and Skills.

Must have experience in legal practice before various courts at Bengaluru.

Excellent proficiency of Kannada language is a must.

Knowledge of property, contract and commercial law.

Should have exposure in working with RERA
