Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with extensive construction equipment experience may also be considered
\n\n - \n
8 – 12 years of experience in Plant & Machinery management in construction projects , preferably high-rise residential or commercial building projects

Project Site
\n\n - \n
Plan and manage plant and machinery requirements for the entire project site .
\n - \n
Ensure timely mobilization and deployment of construction equipment as per project schedules.
\n - \n
Coordinate with project management teams to forecast machinery requirements for upcoming construction stages .
\n\n - \n
Oversee daily operations of construction equipment and machinery including tower cranes, hoists, batching plants, concrete pumps, bar bending machines, bar cutting machines, compressors, and other site equipment.
\n - \n
Ensure proper utilization and operational efficiency of all machinery deployed at site.
\n\n - \n
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all plant and machinery.
\n - \n
Ensure timely repair and maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime .
\n - \n
Monitor equipment performance and address technical issues promptly.
\n\n - \n
Ensure all plant and machinery are operated in compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations .
\n - \n
Conduct regular safety inspections for machinery and lifting equipment .
\n - \n
Ensure operators follow proper equipment handling procedures and safety protocols .
\n\n - \n
Coordinate with equipment suppliers, rental vendors, and service providers for machinery procurement and servicing.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely maintenance and support services .
\n\n - \n
Monitor equipment utilization and operational costs .
\n - \n
Optimize machinery usage to reduce idle time and improve cost efficiency .
\n - \n
Track fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and operational costs.
\n\n - \n
Maintain records of equipment inventory, maintenance logs, and operational reports .
\n - \n
Track machinery deployment, usage, and downtime .
\n - \n
Prepare periodic P&M reports for project management .
\n\n - \n
Supervise P&M engineers, technicians, and equipment operators at the site.
\n - \n
Ensure proper training and competency of machinery operators and technical staff .
\n\n - \n
Strong knowledge of construction equipment and machinery used in high-rise projects
\n - \n
Experience managing tower cranes, hoists, batching plants, concrete pumps, and heavy construction equipment
\n - \n
Knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and troubleshooting
\n - \n
Familiarity with equipment safety standards and statutory compliance
\n - \n
Proficiency in MS Excel and equipment tracking systems
\n\n - \n
Strong leadership and team management skills
\n - \n
Ability to manage multiple equipment operations simultaneously
\n - \n
Good coordination with construction and project management teams
\n - \n
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
