Email Marketing Engineer (Zeta Platform Preferred)

\n We are looking for a highly skilled Email Marketing Engineer with hands‑on expertise in email campaigns, marketing automations, audience segmentation , and experience working with Zeta Global (preferred). This role involves driving end‑to‑end campaign execution, managing marketing workflows, and configuring MarTech systems to support digital engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of marketing operations experience, technical proficiency, and problem‑solving capability.
Key Responsibilities
\nCampaign Execution & Automation

Build, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns , automations, and customer journeys.

Configure and manage audience segmentation, targeting logic, and personalization strategies .
\n - \n
Set up campaign workflows, journey orchestration, and trigger‑based automations across channels.
\n - \n
Ensure seamless integration of campaign elements within Zeta (email, mobile, web, ads).
\n - \n
Configure and deploy multi‑channel communications including:

Email
\n - \n
SMS
\n - \n
Push notifications
\n - \n
Paid media/ad targeting (where applicable)
\n - \n
Upload, validate, and manage customer data files (CSV, JSON, database extracts).
\n - \n
Write and execute basic SQL queries to extract, segment, and analyse customer data.
\n - \n
Support API-based integrations, scripting, or automation enhancements (JavaScript/Python is a plus).
\n - \n
Maintain documentation of workflows, processes, and best practices.
\n - \n
Work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align campaign execution with business goals.
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with data governance, deliverability standards, and platform best practices.
\n - \n
8+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or marketing automation platforms.
\n - \n
Hands-on experience in:

HTML/CSS/JS
\n - \n
Email campaigns
\n - \n
Automations & workflows
\n - \n
Audience segmentation
\n - \n
Zeta Platform (preferred)
\n - \n
Experience with other platforms is a plus:

Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Adobe Campaign
\n - \n
Similar marketing automation ecosystems
\n - \n
Strong understanding of data flows , segmentation logic, and campaign execution lifecycle.

Basic proficiency in SQL , APIs, or scripting languages (JavaScript/Python beneficial).

Strong analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail.
\n - \n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Technology , or related fields.

Prior experience in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) is preferred.
